Are you a business man or business lady? If not why don’t you to set up your own company virtually! I hope this episode will help you to think and incorporate a business.
While listening to the music look through the text and answer the questions about the Kovyktinskoye gas-condensate field:
1. Who is the holder of license to the Kovyktinskoye field?
2. What is a turnover of the Kovyktinskoye field?
3. What is a turnover of your company?
4. Who are the owners (shareholders) of your company?
The Kovyktinskoye gas-condensate field is the largest gas field on Eastern Siberia and the Far East. The field is located in most favorable geographical conditions – only 350 km north-east Irkutsk. Presently, the field is subject to additional exploration. As of 01.01.2000, gas reserves of the field are estimated at 1.5 trillion m3. The field development project is most efficient, easy to realize and of great interest. The project envisages meeting the demand of the Irkutsk Region for gas (6-9 billion m3 a year) in full and export of 25-30 billion m3 a year of gas to Asia-Pacific countries. The field is included in the list of PSA-eligible subsurface sites.

Guess what benefits are of the Kovyktinskoye project? Choose them form the list of words:
Technology transfer, industrial regeneration, training, improving technology, in-vestment, employment, infrastructure development, environmental improvement.

In addition to drilling standard vertical appraisal wells, we are drilling wells that penetrate the gas reservoir horizontally. These horizontal wells and other ad-vanced drilling technologies are already proving that significant improvements in gas flow rates can be achieved. This will lead to fewer gas production wells being required, and a lower cost for the gas which will be produced.
In addition to drilling appraisal wells, advanced seismic data are being ac-quired and analyzed to provide a three dimensional picture of the deeply buried gas reservoirs. Seismic data acquired by sending acoustic signals through the earth’s crust and using sensitive electronic equipment to record the reflections. The seis-mic data are then analyzed by powerful computers to create maps of the gas reser-voirs beneath the surface. These maps will ensure that the gas production wells are drilled in the best locations for efficient production.

What does music mean for everyone? As for me sometimes it helps me to relax, forget my routine days and sometimes it make me predict the steps in my further education (in on-line regime), or think about an upbringing of my children. I can only dream about my future career. If I only were a business lady I would set up a limited company.
A limited company in my opinion has an identity separate from that of shareholders who are its owners. In case of bankruptcy, the claims of the creditors are limited to the assets of the company. This means that shareholders are not liable as individual and their private assets outside company are not touched.
So, I would like to invite all of you to listen to the modern music, think about your own company, then share with your ideas . What company would you set up and why?
